There are so many graphic providers today all claiming to offer excellent quality and service, so why use us? You don't have to look far to see product failure in many signs, wraps, and graphics. How do you know your purchase will be worthwile and your product will be long lasting? Our experience and expertise will help you with your decision. Below are a few visual examples to help you recognize the difference that true quality products, and proper product selection can make.
Appropriate product must be used in cases where long life is expected. Promotional short term "calandered" vinyls are exactly that: "short term". "Cast" vinyls are to be used where long term life is expected, including ALL vehicle applications.
Inferior product with lower initial cost to the provider is the main culprit. Many brands like 3M themselves offer a wide array of vinyls both short term (temporary) and long term. Makre sure you are getting the proper vinyl for the intended application.
Proper vinyl and laminate is key to ensure no "tenting" ever happens in these areas. Adhesive promoter, adequate tools, and proper "post heating" is crucial to lasting results. Our installers are 3M Preferred trained according to 3M's rigid qualifications.
Wraps on vehicles with deep body recesses require a product that is specific for that application. Inferior product shrinks excessively ultimately "tenting" and tearing in these areas. Improper installation even with the proper product is also key to this common problem.
Our highly trained and knowledgeable team uses properly updated settings in all manufacturing stages. From correct ink and material calibration to proper heat/drying settings and accurate lamination/plotter pressures. All of these steps ensure consistent top quality results.
Overstretching during installation is always a guarantee that back-peeling and fingering will happen. Improper manufacturing procedures will also cause premature failure; things such as: wrong heat settings, laminator pressure, curing times, etc.
On site visits and measuring is absolutely essential for accurate designing and manufacturing. This step can be extensive which is why so many are inclined to "skip" the extra work; the alternative can result in disaster and most certainly delays. A design should be balanced and never encumbered by vehicle obstacles, handles, badging, bodylines, etc.
Most "designers" these days don't bother taking the necessary time to measure actual vehicles prior to design. Far too often, simple software templates are used exclusively which leads to "guessing" most of the time. In turn, one only hopes the end results are consistent with the originally shown concept and delivered in time without delays that could have been prevented prior to proofing.
Experience and knowledge is crucial for a proper end result. Utilizing proper tools, knives, rollers, adhesive promoter, and post heating are all important for final results. Our properly trained 3M Preferred installers are key to consistency in this process.
The end product is only as good as the installation procedure. This is where a perfectly good vinyl wrap can be destroyed when an inexperienced installer gets a hold of it! Over stretching, improper trimming, lack of knowledges about the product, all can lead to very unpleasant results.
"Sealing" all the edges of perforated window film with a clear cast vinyl will ensure the edges will not curl back prematurely in order to give long lasting results.
Poor trimming and failure to "seal" all perimeter edges of perforated window film will ultimately lead to the edges curling back over the course of time.
Our experienced install team treats every vehicle like it was their own. Just the right amount of pressure when trimming using only fresh top quality stainless steel blades ensures top quality results.
Improper trimming pressure may not reveal problems on the outset. Dull blades with excess force or non stainless steal blades on painted surfaces will guarantee obvious and expensive issues in the future.
Proper high quality inks and curing lamps provide excellent results. This ensures long lasting inks that adhere properly on a wide variety of sign substrates.
Inferior inks and/or wrong printer settings leads to premature failure on printed rigid signs.
Our color specialists use proper calibrating equipment and software to ensure rich, vibrant colors every time. Routine printer maintenance and upkeep is also a crucial part of our process to ensure accurate and consistent brand colors.
Inexperience with software calibrating devices, or simply a lack of calibration entirely, is the main reason for failing to achieve accurate and consistent color results from printers. The results can be anything from inaccurate or inconsistent colors, to completely washed out or oversaturated prints.
We offer laminates intended for horizontal applications in these areas. These laminates are structured differently and are much more UV resistant in order to provide longevity.
Not all laminates are the same as many are not intended for horizontal applications. This is due to having more direct UV exposure from the increased sun contact. This example shows what can happen when a laminate intended for the sides of a vehicle are used on the hood or roof.
